Located above the delightful village of Eygalières, this original sixteenth century silk worm farm has been beautifully restored and transformed into a superb family home. It is within walking distance of local amenities and within 20 miles of Avignon. St. Remy de Provence is also nearby.
The grounds encompass a large garden and courtyard. The swimming pool has been fashioned out of the rocky landscape and includes a fountain. Access to the property is protected with a gate. The pool area is equipped with garden furniture and a barbecue.
Terrasse des Alphilles has three floors. On the ground floor there are four living rooms with arched ceilings, a billiard room, and Moroccan-style library located in what was once the chapel. The library includes a fireplace, TV, VCR, telephone, and fax machine. The gourmet kitchen has a dishwasher and washing machine. The bedrooms are located on the second and third floors.
