The main house is a reconstructed and renovated country farm house, full of charm and character.
To the left of the main entry is a spacious salon which opens onto a patio with an expansive view of the Luberon Valley. Relax in front of the fireplace and watch satellite TV, read a book or choose a movie to watch from the library of DVDs.
On the main and upper levels are two spacious bedrooms, each with its own en-suite bath. Next to the bedroom wing is a large dining room with an adjoining patio. Off the dining room is a bright, modern kitchen for those who can’t stay away from the markets and want to turn their produce into delicious homemade dishes. Off the kitchen is a porch with steps leading down to the pool with adjoining shaded lawn, pool kitchen and outdoor grill.
The lower level boasts a children’s play room with toys, TV, DVD player and CD player. This opens out into a courtyard which has access to three more bedrooms.
La Bergerie has an airy and sunny personality of its own. Having been completely transformed, this lovely little building is separate as it was originally the old sheepfold.
Crossing a lovely front deck with a stone table, you enter into a grand front room that contains a modern kitchen with spacious dining and living areas (telephone, Dolby Surround sound system, TV, DVD player ). There are large sliding glass doors on either end of the room that frame beautiful views of the Luberon.
Behind the great room is a small hallway with access to bedrooms on either side. There is also a small 'bunk room' between the bedrooms with twin beds and porthole windows: a perfect children’s room. On the east end of the building is an outdoor shower.
NOTE: There is an annex on the property that can sleep an additional 6 people and is available on request only for groups requiring larger accommodation. Please ask one of our Villa Specialists for more details.
