This 18th century dry stone sheepfold is set on the hillside of Luberon, mastering a 360° view over the hills of green oaks and lavender fields. It is situated within a 10 minute bike ride to the hill top town of Bonnieux, where daily life bustles on amidst cafes, restaurants and a selection of great boutiques. From the house, one can take off on a hike or drive to nearby Lourmarin or the busy town of Apt.
The property has been beautifully renovated with local stone and wooden beams. There is a basin pool sunk into the terrace land overlooking the unspoiled unorganized nature. For safety and security, it is protected by an alarm system, a small wall and a wrought iron gate.
The kitchen is a chef's delight spacious and well-equipped. There is ample dining in the kitchen or out in the courtyard under the shade on the terrace while you admire the views and the scents of the surrounding hills of thyme. The living room is centered by a fireplace and the walls are warm in stone; the furnishings throughout the house are sober in color and full in quality, TV with satellite, DVD and telephone.
