France is a huge country with diverse regions with each possessing its distinctive cultures and historical treasures. Innumerable events take place all throughout the year and no matter when you decide to visit the country, you will be able to soak up its festive spirit.

Beaujolais Nouveau's Release – At the strike of midnight on the third Thursday in November every year, the much-awaited enticing young wine of Beaujolais Nouveau takes place. This is one of the best times of the year to visit this part of France and indulge in lots of wine drinking. In Lyon this occasion is marked with music and fireworks.

Bordeaux Fête Le Fleuve - Bordeaux quays sparkle with fireworks and music during the two day festival of Fête Le Fleuve. This festival is a celebration of the Garonne River and crowds gather and take part in the en masse during the Grand Banquet. All through out the day and night the place is ablaze with musical processions including live DJs performances and full-scale orchestras.
